J, Rock Incarnate
This past Saturday was Jet Stream Joni's birthday. We all celebrated by dressing up in our best Rock concert attire, dining at our favorite Greek restaurant Salonki and relishing the Rock 'n' Roll of our younger years coutesy of der bissigste Rockband Vampire! Without a doubt the best cover band ever, though their original songs such as "All the Blood I Can Get" and "Vampire Kill" reinforce the fact that they will always be a cover band. It was still cool to hear good old 90's rock played live, but two Metallica songs in one set is a bit too much nostalgia for me.
The Results Are In . . . . . . The winner of the 2005 New Year's Fitnes Challenge is . . . . Me!! Grand prize is a free trip to Spain, more specifically Costa Bravo and Loret de Mar. I have until June 30 to take the trip. A nice early brithday present.
