Bier of the Moment - Leffe Brune

Label: Abbaye de Leffe (Dinant, Belgium) anno 1240
Flavor: Brune - Bruin - Brown
Alc: 6,5%
Taste: Dark and stout, much like Guinness Stout though not as much bite. It is quite suprising how close the two are in smell and taste. I wouldn't be suprised if Arthur Guinness indulged in this fine Bier one dark night on the mainland and went back home to Dublin to try and recreate it. Lucky for him, and us, that he didn't get it exactly right and stumbled upon something even more unique.
