Gruss Gott, as they say in deep south of Deutschland. A region proud of it's history and even prouder of it's Bier. I had the good fortune of spending 5 days in Bayern with a wonderful family in the small town of Mering, just outside of Augsburg. Highlights include:
1. Hiking in the Bavarian Alps. Took the lift up Blomberg and hiked around for hours among the Alpenkuhe. 
2. Had lunch atop the mountain and washed it down with a cold Mass of Hacker-Pschorr.
3. Took home a little souvenir from a Brown Swiss...
