Buck-er-roo-ba-doo-ba-doo

This is Buck Phelps. He is around 5 months old in this picture. He is a German Shepherd and Boxer mix. I picked him up from the Cascades humane Society on some specific day that Angela knows, because Angela has a keen memory for specifics dates and such.

Buck is very curious and shy at times. He can be very quiet and attentive, especially when food being held right above his nose. He is very good with other dogs and people. Buck knows how to Sit, Lay and Shake. Right now we're working on a variation of the Shake, the High-Five. After we get that done we're going to work on waving Bye-Bye and then maybe Roll-Over.

Yesterday Buck discovered digging while Angela and I were sitting out on the back porch last night. Out of nowhere he begins using his front paws to claw at the ground and dig a hole. Then once the hole was big enough, he slid down into it and began digging sideways.

Well that's all for now. Maybe I'll post again sometime this year.
